About Ms. Karen

Hi, I’m Ms. Karen, the Chief Joy Maker at ABC Music Studio! I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember. My mom noticed how much I loved to sing and how fascinated I was whenever my older siblings played piano. She enrolled me in Kindermusik as a toddler, and I’ve been immersed in music ever since. By age 4, I was taking piano lessons, and in high school, I added voice lessons to the mix. I couldn’t wait to combine my passions for singing and playing!

Music has always been my escape, my joy, and eventually, my career. It’s helped me express myself and get through difficult times, and I’m passionate about giving kids the same chance to experience the magic of music.

Having gone through the ups and downs of my own musical journey, I’m deeply committed to creating a positive, supportive, and fun environment where children feel encouraged to grow at their own pace. I believe music should be joyful and a source of confidence and creativity. My goal is to make every lesson a fun and inspiring experience, helping each child develop a love for music that lasts a lifetime.

Fun Facts About Ms. Karen

  • I'm a huge Disney fan (my favorite characters are Stitch and Ariel), and my husband and I love visiting Disney World together whenever we get the chance!

  • I have a soft spot for animals— penguins are my favorite! At home, we have a guinea pig named Teddy who keeps us company (though not during lessons!).

  • When I'm not teaching, you can find me at the beach, doing yoga, or playing video games—it's all about finding balance and having fun!
